  • Sungsu Park (Sungkyunkwan University, Korea)
  • Donghwan Kim (Sungkyunkwan University)

Description

This session will cover a broad ranges of physical phenomenas in nano-scale, which deals with the manipulation and characterization of matters on the nanoscopic length scale. Physics at the nanoscale is not limited to physics, but through convergence with various fields such as chemistry, biology, material, and mechanical engineering, we will discusse the principles of new phenomena occurring in nano-scale matters.

This session will probide a multidisciplinary approach to state-of-the-art applications of nano-technology including a wide range of application areas, basic science, as well as its innovative applications in physics.

  1. Nano fabrications
  2. Microscopic characterization
  3. Optical characterization in nano-scale
  4. X-ray, Raman, other optical methods
